Abstract
Owing to the continuous development towards the miniaturization of electronics, newer dielectric materials were sought which would enable to achieve high energy density for many applications. To achieve a compact and reliable design of electrical equipment for the present day requirements, there is an urgent need for better and smart insulating materials and in this respect, the reported enhancements in dielectric properties obtained for polymer nanocomposites seems to be very encouraging. Such change was often favourable for engineering purpose. In this case, we obtain a high dielectric permittivity and low dielectric loss. So, it can be used in many applications like electrical insulation for power apparatus, power cables, insulated wires and outdoor insulators too.
